Enbridge Gas Inc. ("Enbridge") is proposing to replace and abandon a segment of 30-inch natural gas main that supplies the City of Toronto, as the crossing could be subject to risk from significant weather events. The segment is located partially on a bridge owned by Enbridge that spans the Don River. The proposed pipeline will be mostly located within the right-of-way of previously disturbed municipal roads and entirely below ground eliminating the bridge crossing. The general location and study area of the proposed pipeline are identified on the adjacent map.

OEB Notice of Application
On August 21, 2018, the OEB issued the Notice of Application (English) (French) with respect to the filing by Enbridge for a leave to construct application for leave to construct approximately 250 metres of nominal pipe size 30 inch natural gas pipeline under the Don River in the City of Toronto (Don Valley Pipeline Project).
