On October 29, 2015, the Ontario Energy Board ("OEB") issued its Decision and Order approving Enbridge's Application.

Public Consultation

Information regarding this project was presented in a Public Information Session on February 19, 2015, from 5 p.m to 8 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 562 located at 25 Legion Street, Chalk River, Ontario. For further information, please refer to Public Consultation link below.

Application and Evidence

On June 30, 2015, Enbridge Gas Distribution Inc. filed the Leave to Construct Application with the Ontario Energy Board.

Notice of Applicaiton

On August 11, 2015, the Ontario Energy Board ("OEB") issued its Notice of Application with respect to the filing by Enbridge for a Leave To Construct Application for approval to constuct a natural gas distribution pipeline to serve the Canadian Nuclear Laboratories ("CNL") Chalk River Facility, located off Ontario Highway 17 on Plant Road in Chalk River, Ontario. The pipeline would originate at the Enbridge Chalk River Gate Station on Highway 17 southeast of Plant Road, traverse northeast along the Hydro One easement, turn northwest on the Baggs Road Right-of-Way and turn northeast along Plant Road and would terminate at the CNL Chalk River Facility at the eastern end of Plant Road.
