Alliston Reinforcement Pipeline Project EB-2011-0323

Overview

On January 23, 2012, the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) granted Enbridge leave to construct a natural gas distribution pipeline from the Town of Cookstown to the Town of Alliston.

The pipeline will originate from Enbridge's Cookstown Gate Station located at 4174 15th Line in Cookstown, Ontario.

The OEB found the construction of the proposed pipeline was in the public interest and granted the Leave to Construct, subject to certain Conditions of Approval, which are outlined in the Decision.

Enbridge is regulated by the OEB and it ensures that Enbridge meets all standards and regulations relating to both the protection of the environment and public safety.
