The demand for natural gas is growing steadily across Ontario.

To better meet your needs, we've started a number of construction projects to reinforce our distribution system.

Current Enbridge Projects


Enbridge Gas Distribution Inc. (“Enbridge”) is proposing to build up to 3.6 km of nominal pipe size (“NPS”) 12 inch natural gas pipeline in North York (the “Project”). The Project is a reinforcement pipeline and as such will allow Enbridge to continue providing gas distribution service to customers in the area and meet gas demand stemming from customer growth in the area.

Enbridge Gas Distribution Inc.  is proposing to construct approximately 1.1 km of natural gas pipeline within Liberty Village. The Project will serve to supply gas to additional development, and reinforce the existing gas infrastructure to support future growth in the community.

Enbridge Gas Distribution Inc. ("Enbridge") is proposing to replace and abandon a segment of 30 inch natural gas main that supplies the City of Toronto. The segment is located partially on a bridge owned by Enbridge that spans the Don River.

Enbridge Gas Distribution Inc. is proposing to build a natural gas pipeline in the City of Kawartha Lakes to service the community of Bobcaygeon. The Project will provide the residents and businesses of Bobcaygeon access to natural gas for the first time.

Enbridge Gas Distribution Inc. is proposing to construct a natural gas pipeline in the Township of Scugog. The Project will provide the residents and businesses of Scugog Island access to natural gas for the first time.

Enbridge Gas Distribution Inc. is proposing to apply to the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) for approval to construct approximately 37 km of natural gas pipeline in the City of Kawartha Lakes, which would serve the community of Fenelon Falls.

Enbridge Gas Distribution Inc. ("Enbridge") is proposing to construct a Natural Gas Pipeline in North Pickering, Ontario, to serve the Seaton Land Development.

Enbridge Gas Distribution Inc. ("Enbridge") is proposing to construct a Natural Gas Pipeline to serve the Canadian Nuclear Laboratories ("CNL") Chalk River Facility, Township of Laurentian Hills, Ontario.

Enbridge is proposing to construct a natural gas pipeline to replace an existing pipeline along Innes Road that forms part of Enbridge's distribution network in the City of Ottawa.

As the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) continues to grow, demands for services such as natural gas also grow.  In order to meet the demands of growth in the GTA and continue the safe and reliable delivery of natural gas to current and future customers, Enbridge Gas Distribution Inc. (Enbridge) is upgrading its existing distribution system.
