About the Energy Services Market

Ontario has a competitive energy services market. Enbridge does not sell anything door to door and we don't rent, sell or service natural gas appliances. This includes authorizing any company to provide energy services on our behalf. Here are some tips for navigating the energy services market:

  • Prepare a list of questions you would like answered and plan to get multiple quotes to help you decide on a good fit.
  • If someone is at your door, ask to see photo identification (ID) that shows the name of the company they represent and their employee ID or badge number. Learn more about visits to your door.
  • If you buy your natural gas supply from a licensed energy broker, your gas supply charges from them will be included in the 'Charges For Gas' section of your Enbridge bill. .
