Stoves, Ranges and Ovens

Overview

Natural gas stoves and ovens are convenient, efficient and offer plenty of benefits:

  • You get instant heat with an adjustable flame.
  • If your power goes out, most gas stoves can be lit with a match.
  • They're stylish and inexpensive to use.

Buying Tips

  • Small kitchen? Wall-mounted ovens will save space.
  • Models with removable or sealed-top burners make cleaning fast and easy.
  • Stay safe. Choose knobs mounted on the front or side of burners so you won't have to reach over hot pots to change cooking temperatures.
  • Self-cleaning ovens save energy because they are better insulated.

Installation

We can help you find a registered heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) contractor to install your natural gas stove for you.

Maintenance

Read your owners' manual for maintenance information, and remember these other tips:

  • Keep the burners and interior of your oven clean.
  • Clean any spills right away. They can clog pilot lights and outlet holes.
  • Don't line your oven with aluminum foil, which can block an air vent or interfere with circulation. Instead, place a cookie sheet below your dish.
  • Never use your stove or oven to heat your home.
