With a core value of safety, Enbridge Gas continues its focus on implementing cybersecurity measures to protect our customer’s confidential information. As of Dec. 1, 2022, we are extending our cybersecurity efforts to My Account and our virtual assistant cozE, providing customers the option to use multi-factor authentication (MFA) as part of the log in process.

MFA security will help protect confidential customer information from unauthorized access if a user’s password is compromised. When launched, customers using these applications will be prompted to set up MFA when they log in. Once the set up is complete, users will be required to enter a code before accessing their information.

Setting up your My Account MFA profile

As an added security measure, all My Account users are provided an option to set up a multi-factor authentication (MFA) profile as part of the My Account log in process. For more information on setting up an MFA profile, refer to the instructions:

  • Unlock account and reset password
    1. To unlock or reset your password, visit our sign-in page, and select "Forgot Password?".
    2. You will be presented with a Forgot password/Unlock account page.
    3. Input your My Account email address and submit.
    4. Once you receive the email, follow the instructions to unlock or reset your password.
