Our story

Enbridge Gas Ontario is Canada’s largest natural gas storage, transmission and distribution company based in Ontario. With 178 years of service, it delivers safe, affordable, reliable energy to over 4 million customers. The storage and transmission business offers a variety of storage and transportation services to customers at the Dawn Hub, Canada’s largest integrated underground storage facility and one of the largest in North America. Enbridge Gas serves over 675,000 customers in 28 counties in North Carolina. The utility has safely provided customers with reliable and affordable natural gas service for almost a century. Enbridge Gas Ohio safely serves 1.2 million customers in 35 counties with reliable and affordable natural gas. We’re investing in innovations that modernize how energy is produced, delivered and used. With over 125 years of experience, Enbridge Gas Ohio is owned by Enbridge (ENB), a Canadian-based leader in energy transportation and distribution.

Enbridge Gas in Utah, Wyoming and Idaho and Wexpro Company

Enbridge Gas serves over 1.2 million customers in 33 counties across Utah, Wyoming, and Idaho. For 96 years, the utility has provided customers with safe, reliable, and affordable natural gas services and innovations to contribute to a lower-emission future. Enbridge Gas is owned by Enbridge (ENB), a North American-based leader in energy transportation and distribution.

Enbridge Gaz Québec, formerly Gazifère, established in the Outaouais area in 1959, owns and operates a 1,000 km gas system serving more than 45,000 residential, commercial, and institutional customers in the city of Gatineau and the municipality of Chelsea.

Our commitment to sustainability underpins our vision—to provide energy in a more planet-friendly way, everywhere people need it. These include:

Reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from our operations by 2050^1,2 and achieve net-zero GHG emissions from our operations by 2050.^1,3.
Achieve a 10% improvement over the previous 3-year average Total Recordable Incident Frequency (TRIF) rate for employees and contractors.
Implement a new voluntary industry standard for pipeline system safety performance and establish a baseline to guide business units in setting targets.
Foster a more inclusive, high-performance workforce that better reflects the communities where we operate and supports business outcomes.⁴
Contribute to Indigenous reconciliation; and build and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities and offer Indigenous cultural awareness training.
Increase procurement from, and number of, qualified and competitive certified inclusive suppliers with longevity to do business with Enbridge.
Enhance cyber defense programs to protect information and services.
Focus on Board composition that reflects a variety of skills, experiences and perspectives.
Demonstrate leadership in sustainability reporting. Report in alignment with leading sustainability disclosure frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD) and evolve with best practice.
