Enbridge Gas is replacing a section of its system located in Lehi known as Feeder Line 26. Feeder lines are larger, steel pipelines that supply smaller main and individual service lines that connect to meters at homes and businesses.
Project overview
The Feeder Line 26 Replacement Project is a four-phase natural gas infrastructure improvement project in Lehi, extending from Point of the Mountain to State Street. This project is designed to replace aging infrastructure, enhance system reliability, and support continued growth along the Wasatch Front.
Phases 1 and 2 have been completed. Work is currently underway on the remaining phases. Please refer to the project maps for specific construction locations and updates.
Need for the project
The Feeder Line 26 Replacement Project will help ensure the continued delivery of safe, clean and reliable natural gas service by replacing aging infrastructure and improving our ability to monitor and maintain the system. As communities along the Wasatch Front continue to grow, the project will also help meet increasing energy demand and support future system needs.
Location
The project corridor extends from Point of the Mountain to State Street in Lehi and is being completed in four phases. Phases 1 and 2 have been completed. Please see the project maps for current construction locations and exact route information.
Construction schedule
We are committed to completing this work as quickly and with as little inconvenience to local businesses and residents as possible. Crews are scheduled to start in late summer 2024 and finish in late fall 2025. To expedite construction, multiple crews may be working simultaneously at various locations and may perform nighttime and weekend work. No interruption to residents' natural gas service is anticipated during this project.
To provide room for crews and equipment, some temporary lane restrictions, especially at intersections, will be necessary. Please drive carefully and obey all signs and flaggers. To avoid congestion in construction zones, motorists are advised to use alternate routes when possible and to allow plenty of travel time to get where they're going. At all times, our crews will make every effort to maintain access to businesses and driveways in construction zones.
We appreciate your patience.
