We’ve made it as convenient and easy as possible for both residential and business customers to pay their energy bills; take a look below and see which way best meets your needs.

Consider enrolling in eBill to receive your bill details directly to your email inbox and can pay from your computer or your phone. The email will include summary bill information and a link to view your bill and other important billing information.

Update the payee name to Enbridge Gas Ohio

Our banking information is being updated. You’ll start to see “Enbridge Gas Ohio” on your bank statement.

If you’re paying with the following payment methods, you’ll need to be sure to change the payee name to “Enbridge Gas Ohio.”

  • Online bill pay through your bank
  • By check or money order through the mail
  • At an authorized payment center 

No update is needed if paying through Manage Your Account or AutoPay.

Ways to pay your Enbridge Gas Ohio bill

Make a one-time immediate payment or schedule a payment from your checking account. It’s free!

  1. Register or sign in to your account.
  2. Choose "Payment" from left navigation on desktop or hamburger menu in top right-hand corner.
  3. Select "From Your Bank Account." For immediate payments, select “Now” under “Payment Date”. Payments made before 5 p.m. EST Monday-Friday will post to your account the same day and if after 5 p.m. EST or on weekends or holidays will post the next business day. For scheduled payments, select “Later” under “Payment date”. Scheduled payments can be set to post to your gas account on a future business day of your choosing.

You’ll need your routing number and bank account numberA cheque showing the routing transit codes and account number to make or schedule the initial payment. ** Routing number texts uses a hover pop-up to show a copy of a cheque. **

Both immediate and scheduled payments are not available payment options if your account reflects two or more returned payments in the last 12 months.

AutoPay (formerly Automatic Bank Draft) is a free payment option for both residential and business customers that allows you to have your bill amount automatically deducted from your bank account each month.

How it works

  • Payments are automatically deducted from the account you choose. (Enbridge Gas will automatically debit your checking/savings account 10-21 days after the bill date.)
  • You can choose the most convenient day to make your payment and change your AutoPay day if you need to.
  • There are no fees.

Make a payment using your credit/debit card or a Digital Payment Method (PayPal and Amazon Pay) (available in English & Spanish).

How it works

  • Make a one-time payment through our only authorized third party vendor, Paymentus.  Payments will reflect immediately as a pending payment on your account. Payments made before 5 p.m. EST Monday-Friday will post to your account the same day and if after 5 p.m. EST or on weekends or holidays will post the next business day.
  • Transaction fees apply.
    • Residential customers: $1.65 per transaction (up to $1,000 per transaction)
    • Business customers: $14.95 per transaction (up to $15,000 per transaction)
  • Credit or Debit cards accepted include Visa, MasterCard, Discover and AMEX
    Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express logos

You can make up to five (5) payments in three (3) days or up to ten (10) payments in 30 days.

To pay your bill by phone, call 1-833-261-1469. Have your account number ready. Available in English and Spanish languages.

Transaction fees apply.

  • Residential customers: $1.65 per transaction (up to $1,000 per transaction)
  • Non-residential customers: $14.95 per transaction (up to $15,000 per transaction)

Pay at one of the many payment centers authorized by Enbridge Gas. Authorized payment centers will accept cash, money orders (written to the authorized payment center), checks (including personal checks, traveler’s checks and cashier’s cheques), pin-based debit cards (only at Walmart and Kroger locations) or Walmart MoneyCard (only at Walmart locations).*

*Please contact the authorized payment center to confirm it will accept money orders and checks as payment, as they will be accepted at each center's discretion.

A convenience fee of $1.50 will apply per transaction and must be paid in cash. (This fee is charged by CheckFreePay, a third party vendor.)

Payments made before 5 p.m. EST Monday-Friday will post to your account the same day and if after 5 p.m. EST or on weekends or holidays will post the next business day.

Important note: Paper checks are converted to an electronic transaction at the point the payment is processed.

When you send us a check through US Mail, you authorize Enbridge Gas Ohio to convert your paper check into an electronic debit, which instructs your financial institution to transfer funds in the amount of your payment from your account to us.
