    We introduced some updates to your Enbridge Gas bill. During this transition, you may receive either the current bill format or the new one.

Billing and payment summary

 
  1. Account number
    Your 10-digit Enbridge Gas account number
  2. Total amount due upon receipt
    An overview of your account, including your previous bill amount, any payments received since the last billing cycle.
  3. Summary of current charges
    This section shows your current month's gas usage and any other charges and credits.

Meter and usage

 
  1. Comparison
    This table compares this year’s natural gas usage against last year’s usage, measured in average Therms per day and average dollars spent per day.
  2. Gas usage history
    This chart tracks your monthly natural gas usage and will continue to build over time. As more billing data becomes available, you'll be able to view up to 13 months of usage history and compare your current billing month with the same month from the previous year to identify trends and changes in consumption.

Explanation of bill

 
  1. Current charges
    Your gas charges include usage for the current month (your meter reading (measured in therms) multiplied by your rate plan), as well as a fixed monthly basic facilities charge and state sales tax.
  2. Other charges & credits - unregulated
    This section includes charges for unregulated services such as appliance sales, installation, maintenance and repair programs that are not part of the regulated services offered by Enbridge Gas North Carolina.
