Enbridge Gas and Save on Energy are offering joint incentives that cover up to 100% of total installed costs* for a smart thermostat for eligible small and mid-sized businesses across Ontario.
A smart thermostat lowers energy use,† improves comfort and maximizes energy efficiency. Smart thermostats achieve this by learning and adapting to occupancy patterns, weather conditions and more. They automatically adjust and optimize your HVAC system for efficiency. Plus, you’ll gain remote control over heating and cooling using your smartphone, tablet or computer.
Joint incentives are offered by Enbridge Gas in collaboration with Save on Energy.
Who qualifies?
If you heat your facility with natural gas from Enbridge Gas and have cooling provided by an electric utility in Ontario, you may qualify for the Enbridge Gas and Save on Energy Small Business Smart Thermostat Offer.
If you’re not eligible for the Small Business Smart Thermostat Offer, you may qualify for the Enbridge Gas Prescriptive Commercial Smart Thermostat Offer.
How the offer works

Contact us to schedule your free site visit with a trusted Delivery Agent. You must be an Enbridge Gas customer to participate.

During your free site visit, they’ll let you know what kind of free upgrades you are eligible for, including a commercial smart thermostat.

You’ll receive a customized work order with upfront incentives already applied.

Once you’ve signed the work order, the Delivery Agent will install the smart thermostat and other upgrades at a time that works best for you.

Save on energy use with sensors that automatically lower the temperature according to setback and occupancy schedules.
Remote HVAC control offers more flexibility, while analytics and weather data help the device “learn” and optimize energy efficiency.
Improve comfort year round for customers and staff. The device also sends helpful suggestions to save energy, including maintenance reminders.
Experienced delivery partners will oversee the entire installation process, from scheduling to clean-up.

By submitting an intake form, you consent to Enbridge, the IESO, and their authorized service providers collecting and using the submitted information for the purposes of offering, administering and delivering the Small Business Smart Thermostat Offer. If you participate in our program offer, the participant agreement you are required to sign and other program materials will include additional information with respect to the collection, use and disclosure of your information.
*Incentives are available to Enbridge Gas customers in Ontario who have a valid Enbridge Gas account number in good standing and must use natural gas for heating purposes. To qualify, you must be a business with an operating capacity of 50 or fewer employees onsite at any given time. To qualify, customers must consent to a complimentary energy-efficiency audit of their facility, sign a work order application form and have the smart thermostat installed in their facility no later than Nov. 30, 2026. Limited number of projects/incentives per customer. Additional terms and conditions may apply.
