Enbridge Gas and Save on Energy, with support from the Ontario Government, have partnered to launch the new Home Renovation Savings™ program to help Ontarians improve home energy efficiency and comfort.* Homeowners now have more choice, with flexible options to choose single or bundled upgrades for greater savings.
The Home Efficiency Rebate Plus program, delivered in partnership with the Canada Greener Homes Grant, has been a huge success. We have helped over 100,000 Ontario households reduce their energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, in collaboration with Canada’s Greener Homes Grant.
To ensure that Enbridge Gas and Canada Greener Homes Grant can effectively manage the remaining grant funding available within the program, we have established a deadline of December 1, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. (ET) for all post-retrofit energy assessments to be completed. This gives your Registered Energy Advisor a couple of weeks to submit all paperwork, as all applications must be submitted by Dec 31, 2025. Requests for grant payments made after the deadline will not be processed and no exceptions can be made.
This notice is to ensure homeowners have time, to complete their application and have it submitted.

If you completed your post-retrofit energy assessment more than three months ago and have not received any communication, please reach out to your service organization to ensure nothing was missed.
HER+ applications will only be accepted if the pre-retrofit energy assessments completed between April 1, 2020, and Feb. 5, 2024, and the post-retrofit energy assessment was completed between Jan. 1, 2023, and Dec. 1, 2025.
