Enbridge Gas and Save on Energy, with support from the Ontario Government, have partnered to launch the new Home Renovation Savings™ program to help Ontarians improve home energy efficiency and comfort.* Homeowners now have more choice, with flexible options to choose single or bundled upgrades for greater savings.
The Home Efficiency Rebate Plus program, delivered in partnership with the Canada Greener Homes Grant, has been a huge success. We are helping over 100,000 Ontario households reduce their energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, in collaboration with Canada’s Greener Homes Grant.
The Home Efficiency Rebate Plus (HER+) program is closed to new applicants as of February 5, 2024, and all pre-retrofit energy assessments must have been completed by that date to qualify. All remaining active applications can still complete their post- retrofit energy assessments but grants will be awarded on a first come, first served basis until funding is fully allocated.
If you would like to stay informed on program updates or new program offerings, please provide us your email address and we will notify you with any updates as they become available.

No, if you have already completed your pre-retrofit energy assessment by Feb. 5, 2024, this should not impact you as long as your pre-retrofit energy assessment was documented in our system. If you are ready to book your post-retrofit energy assessment or are unsure of your status, please reach out to your Registered Energy Advisor.
Currently, we are only accepting pre-retrofit energy assessments completed on or before Feb. 5, 2024. If you have a pre-retrofit energy assessment scheduled after Feb. 5, 2024, you do not qualify for HER+ rebates as it is past the cut-off date.
