Demand for natural gas continues to grow in the Triangle and surrounding areas. To meet customer growth, Enbridge Gas will install a 45-mile natural gas pipeline from Eden to Roxboro. This system reliability project will ensure the utility can meet demand while ensuring the safety and integrity of its pipeline system in compliance with regulations.
As of fall 2025, Enbridge Gas has all the needed regulatory approvals needed to begin project construction. Construction is anticipated to span approximately two years, with the project expected to be in service by the end of 2027.
