A free home energy assessment shows you how your home uses energy and reveals the upgrades you need to improve its energy efficiency, reduce drafts and air leaks. The assessment will be scheduled at no cost to you once it has been confirmed that your home is qualified to complete an eligible insulation upgrade. Following the assessment¹, participants will receive a renovation upgrade report, which includes a customized upgrade plan and an energy report.

How to get your rebates

1. Schedule an assessment

Before beginning any work, complete an initial home energy assessment with a registered energy advisor. Click Apply Now to fill out the form.
2. Get a custom report

See which upgrades are recommended for your home and choose at least two to complete.
3. Complete 2+ upgrades

Have your preferred contractor complete the work.
4. Schedule a follow-up assessment

After upgrades are installed, complete a final assessment with the same registered energy advisor.
5. Receive your rebates

Your rebates will be sent after your energy advisor submits all required documents.

¹ To qualify for multiple upgrades, you must complete pre-and post-upgrade home energy assessments. Windows, doors, skylights and sliding doors, heat pump water heaters and draft proofing must be done in conjunction with an eligible insulation measure.

² If you choose to work with your own contractor on multiple upgrades, you will be required to pay upfront costs and submit a project quote for approval of rebate amounts. Once the eligible upgrades are installed, you will receive rebates through a process facilitated by the delivery agent.
