Options in case of payment difficulties

If it becomes a challenge to pay your bill, options are available.

Having payment difficulties

I am behind on my bill. Do you have any programs to help?

The Ontario Energy Board has launched the COVID-19 Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) to help residential, small business and registered charity customers with their Enbridge Gas bill. See if you qualify for a one-time credit.

Low-income customers having trouble paying their bill may qualify for emergency relief through the Low-Income Energy Assistance Program. The program provides emergency relief with a one-time financial grant of up to $500 for eligible low-income customers. This amount is applied directly to the outstanding balance on your gas bill and will vary based on account circumstances. Customers should visit the United Way Simcoe Muskoka website for qualification information.
